FAQs
What is Neutrogena Skin360®?
Skin360™ is a virtual skin analysis tool that helps you identify your skin goals and then provides suggested products and tips to help you achieve your skin care goals. After scanning your face, you receive scores across 6 skin attributes, laddering up to your overall skin score. After identifying your top skin concern, Skin360™ will suggest morning and evening products and key ingredients specific to your skin goal. It can even suggest a tinted sunscreen matched to your skin tone.
Who should use Skin360™?
Short answer— everyone! Whether you're a skincare newbie or experienced pro, there's something for everyone. There are lots of different ways to use the web-based tool. You can use it to help identify areas of improvement for your skin and find specific ingredients and products to help, to learn more about the holistic health of your skin, and even use it to find alternative products for your favorite out of stock or discontinued products. Our skin is constantly changing, whether due to seasonal changes, lifestyle changes, hormonal changes, or even stage of life. Neutrogena Skin360® is the perfect tool to help you find the right products for all your skin needs.
Is my facial scan stored?
No, we do not store your facial images. Once your scan is processed, it is immediately deleted.
How are my scores calculated?
When you scan your face, Neutrogena Skin360® uses over 100,000 skin pixels to analyze over 2,000 facial attributes. Your images are then compared to a database of 10,000 images that have been graded and assessed by dermatologists across ethnicities, skin types, and ages (from 7-70 years old) with more than 10 types of lighting to determine your scores. You'll receive scores across 6 skin attributes, including an in-depth breakdown for clear skin, that reliably helps identify your skin strengths as well as areas you may want to focus on improving.
How long does the skin analysis take?
The skin assessment starts with a quick skin scan. You will take 3 selfies, one looking straight on, and one from each side. After your scan is complete and you view your scores, you can answer a few questions to see skin tips and products you may like. The survey only takes a few minutes to complete. While the scan and questions can be completed in less than 5 minutes, the full experience is based on how much time you spend exploring the additional educational content and products. You can purchase your suggested products through the Neutrogena® website or at a later time from the Skin360™ email you'll receive.
Can I save my results?
Since you don't need an account to use Neutrogena Skin360®, we aren't able to save your results. However, you will receive an email with your top skin concern, your scores, and your suggested products. Keep this email to compare your scores over time or have easy access to repurchase your favorite products.
Do I have to download an app to use the tool?
You don't need an account or need to download an app to enjoy all the great features of the Skin360™ web-based tool. We've made it as easy as possible to use, you can access the web-tool either from your phone or computer. We do however encourage you to use your phone to complete your scan since it provides higher quality images and more accurate results.
